Dijon Seasoned Limestone Cobbles are narrow-format natural limestone pieces with an aged, seasoned finish designed for characterful paving, borders and decorative layouts.

The warm beige and cream tones suit traditional and contemporary landscaping, while the compact 50 x 200 mm format allows flexible patterns around paths, edging, courtyards and smaller paved areas. The seasoned surface gives the stone a naturally established appearance from the day it is installed.

Installation & care

Natural limestone will vary in colour, texture and markings. Mix pieces before laying for a balanced blend and install on a base appropriate to the intended use. Sealing is recommended to help protect the stone and simplify ongoing maintenance.

What does surface treatments mean?

TUMBLED SURFACE: The surface of the tumbled product is distressed by being tumbled. The distressed surface has a non-shiny, matte appearance, a velvety touch, and rounded edges. Distressed surfaces are quite successful in adding a sophisticated atmosphere to the space.

HONED SURFACE: Honed surface is a commonly preferred surface treatment in marble mosaics. In this process, the natural texture of marble is preserved while the surface is mattified and a textured appearance is achieved. Honed surface provides elegance and sophistication in marble mosaics, while also attracting attention with its texture and offering practical use with its non-slip feature.

BRUSHED SURFACE: During the brushing process, scratch effects are added to the surface to create a natural texture. This results in a non-slip surface, making it suitable for floors. Additionally, it adds a sophisticated touch to any space.

POLISHED SURFACE: Polished surface is a surface treatment commonly applied in the manufacturing process of materials such as stone, marble, or ceramics. This process ensures that the material achieves a smooth, shiny, and polished appearance.

Notes:

*Natural stone inherently exhibits variations. Colour, texture, shading, pitting, fissures, and veining may differ from the provided samples. These variances are intrinsic qualities of natural stone and should not be considered as defects.
