Jerusalem Sunny Egyptian Tumbled Limestone Cobbles are robust narrow-format limestone pieces with warm golden-beige colouring and a softly weathered tumbled finish.

The 50 x 200 mm format is well suited to paths, courtyards, borders, edging and decorative paving patterns. At 40 mm thick, these cobbles provide a substantial natural-stone format for correctly prepared exterior installations while retaining the relaxed appearance of tumbled limestone.

Installation & care

Natural limestone varies in shade, texture and markings. Blend pieces before laying and install over a base suitable for the intended traffic and site conditions. Sealing is recommended to help protect the stone and make ongoing maintenance easier.

What does surface treatments mean?

TUMBLED SURFACE: The surface of the tumbled product is distressed by being tumbled. The distressed surface has a non-shiny, matte appearance, a velvety touch, and rounded edges. Distressed surfaces are quite successful in adding a sophisticated atmosphere to the space.

HONED SURFACE: Honed surface is a commonly preferred surface treatment in marble mosaics. In this process, the natural texture of marble is preserved while the surface is mattified and a textured appearance is achieved. Honed surface provides elegance and sophistication in marble mosaics, while also attracting attention with its texture and offering practical use with its non-slip feature.

BRUSHED SURFACE: During the brushing process, scratch effects are added to the surface to create a natural texture. This results in a non-slip surface, making it suitable for floors. Additionally, it adds a sophisticated touch to any space.

POLISHED SURFACE: Polished surface is a surface treatment commonly applied in the manufacturing process of materials such as stone, marble, or ceramics. This process ensures that the material achieves a smooth, shiny, and polished appearance.

Notes:

*Natural stone inherently exhibits variations. Colour, texture, shading, pitting, fissures, and veining may differ from the provided samples. These variances are intrinsic qualities of natural stone and should not be considered as defects.
