Installation & Care
To get the best possible finish with your natural stone tiles, we recommend keeping the following in mind:
- Ensure your substrate (the surface you are tiling onto) is clean, level, and suitably prepared before installation.
- Always use a white, flexible tile adhesive that is specifically recommended for natural stone. This prevents any potential discolouration from coloured adhesives bleeding through the lighter stones.
- Grout colour will have a significant impact on the final look. A light, matching grout (white or light beige) will create a soft, seamless finish, while a contrasting grout will make the fan pattern stand out.
- We always recommend dry-laying a few sheets first. This allows you to appreciate the natural variation in the stone and plan the layout, ensuring the pattern flows correctly before fixing.
- Due to the intricate pattern and the nature of natural stone, we recommend using a professional tiler for installation to achieve a premium finish.

                      What does surface treatments mean?

TUMBLED SURFACE: The surface of the tumbled product is distressed by being tumbled. The distressed surface has a non-shiny, matte appearance, a velvety touch, and rounded edges. Distressed surfaces are quite successful in adding a sophisticated atmosphere to the space.
HONED SURFACE: Honed surface is a commonly preferred surface treatment in marble mosaics. In this process, the natural texture of marble is preserved while the surface is mattified and a textured appearance is achieved. Honed surface provides elegance and sophistication in marble mosaics, while also attracting attention with its texture and offering practical use with its non-slip feature.
BRUSHED SURFACE: During the brushing process, scratch effects are added to the surface to create a natural texture. This results in a non-slip surface, making it suitable for floors. Additionally, it adds a sophisticated touch to any space.
POLISHED SURFACE: Polished surface is a surface treatment commonly applied in the manufacturing process of materials such as stone, marble, or ceramics. This process ensures that the material achieves a smooth, shiny, and polished appearance.
Notes:
*Natural stone inherently exhibits variations. Color, texture, shading, pitting, fissures, and veining may differ from the provided samples. These variances are intrinsic qualities of natural stone and should not be considered as defects.
