Limestone - Dolomite Fan / Scallop Honed Marble Mosaic Tile combines warm creamy limestone with crisp white Dolomite marble in a flowing fan pattern. The honed matt finish keeps the look refined and understated while the contrast between the two natural stones gives the mosaic clear definition.

Supplied on mesh backing for easier alignment, this mosaic works particularly well on bathroom walls, shower surrounds, splashbacks, feature areas and suitably specified interior floors.

Natural Stone Colour, Finish & Character

As a genuine natural-stone mosaic, colour, veining and markings vary from piece to piece. These variations are expected and are part of the finished character. We recommend viewing a sample and blending sheets before installation.

The mosaic is supplied in a fan / scallop pattern on mesh backing at approximately 10 mm thickness. Check the selected variant for current availability and price, and allow for cuts, pattern alignment and spare material when calculating quantities.

Installation & Sealing

Install over a correctly prepared substrate using products suitable for natural stone. Light-coloured natural-stone adhesive is recommended for pale materials. Wet areas require appropriate waterproofing, and floor use should be assessed for the required slip resistance. A compatible natural-stone sealer is recommended, including pre-grout protection where appropriate.

Cleaning & Long-Term Care

Use a pH-neutral cleaner formulated for natural stone. Avoid acidic cleaners, harsh descalers and abrasive products. Follow the sealer manufacturer’s guidance on maintenance and resealing.

What does surface treatments mean?

TUMBLED SURFACE: The surface of the tumbled product is distressed by being tumbled. The distressed surface has a non-shiny, matte appearance, a velvety touch, and rounded edges. Distressed surfaces are quite successful in adding a sophisticated atmosphere to the space.

HONED SURFACE: Honed surface is a commonly preferred surface treatment in marble mosaics. In this process, the natural texture of marble is preserved while the surface is mattified and a textured appearance is achieved. Honed surface provides elegance and sophistication in marble mosaics, while also attracting attention with its texture and offering practical use with its non-slip feature.

BRUSHED SURFACE: During the brushing process, scratch effects are added to the surface to create a natural texture. This results in a non-slip surface, making it suitable for floors. Additionally, it adds a sophisticated touch to any space.

POLISHED SURFACE: Polished surface is a surface treatment commonly applied in the manufacturing process of materials such as stone, marble, or ceramics. This process ensures that the material achieves a smooth, shiny, and polished appearance.
