Why Choose Rustic Green Honed Limestone Hexagon Wall & Floor Tiles?

  • Earthy green, beige and brown limestone tones
  • Smooth honed finish in a 203 x 176 mm hexagon format
  • 14 pieces per box with approximately 0.5 m² coverage

Natural Limestone Colour, Finish & Character

Rustic Green is a genuine natural limestone, so shade, markings and surface detail vary from piece to piece. These differences are part of the stone’s appeal. Mix tiles from several boxes before fixing for a balanced finished surface.

Available Format & Project Planning

The current tile size is 203 x 176 x 10 mm, supplied 14 pieces per box with approximately 0.5 m² coverage. Allow for cuts, wastage and spare pieces when calculating quantities, particularly around edges and corners in a geometric layout.

Where to Use These Tiles

They are suitable for appropriately specified interior walls and floors, including kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and feature areas.

For wet floors, confirm the required slip resistance and installation system. Wet areas require appropriate waterproofing.

Installation & Sealing

Install over a correctly prepared substrate using a suitable natural-stone adhesive and grout. Wet areas require appropriate waterproofing, and floor applications should be assessed for the required slip resistance. A compatible natural-stone sealer is recommended, including pre-grout protection where appropriate.

Cleaning & Long-Term Care

Use a pH-neutral cleaner formulated for natural stone. Avoid acidic cleaners, harsh descalers and abrasive methods. Clean spills promptly and follow the sealer manufacturer’s guidance on maintenance and resealing.

Design Ideas & Samples

The muted green and earthy tones pair naturally with timber, warm metals, dark fixtures and neutral cabinetry. Order a sample first to assess the actual colour and honed finish in your own lighting.

What does surface treatments mean?

TUMBLED SURFACE: The surface of the tumbled product is distressed by being tumbled. The distressed surface has a non-shiny, matte appearance, a velvety touch, and rounded edges. Distressed surfaces are quite successful in adding a sophisticated atmosphere to the space.

HONED SURFACE: Honed surface is a commonly preferred surface treatment in marble mosaics. In this process, the natural texture of marble is preserved while the surface is mattified and a textured appearance is achieved. Honed surface provides elegance and sophistication in marble mosaics, while also attracting attention with its texture and offering practical use with its non-slip feature.

BRUSHED SURFACE: During the brushing process, scratch effects are added to the surface to create a natural texture. This results in a non-slip surface, making it suitable for floors. Additionally, it adds a sophisticated touch to any space.

POLISHED SURFACE: Polished surface is a surface treatment commonly applied in the manufacturing process of materials such as stone, marble, or ceramics. This process ensures that the material achieves a smooth, shiny, and polished appearance.

Notes:

*Natural stone inherently exhibits variations. Colour, texture, shading, pitting, fissures, and veining may differ from the provided samples. These variances are intrinsic qualities of natural stone and should not be considered as defects.
