- Due to the rustic, broken edge, the grout lines may vary slightly in width. A flexible grout is recommended to accommodate this. We advise using a high-quality, flexible tile adhesive specifically designed for natural stone.
- Grout colour dramatically changes the look. A black or dark charcoal grout will create a seamless, solid stone appearance. A light grey grout will highlight the grid pattern and rustic edges. We generally advise against bright white grout as it can stain from the black stone dust during installation.
- We recommend sealing with a high-quality impregnator to protect the stone and enhance the deep black colour.
- We strongly advise dry-laying a few sheets of the mosaic before permanent fixing to ensure you are happy with the layout and natural variation.

BRUSHED SURFACE: During the brushing process, scratch effects are added to the surface to create a natural texture. This results in a non-slip surface, making it suitable for floors. Additionally, it adds a sophisticated touch to any space.
POLISHED SURFACE: Polished surface is a surface treatment commonly applied in the manufacturing process of materials such as stone, marble, or ceramics. This process ensures that the material achieves a smooth, shiny, and polished appearance.
