Marble Tiles

Natural marble tiles combine distinctive veining, colour variation and long-lasting stone character for bathrooms, kitchens, floors, walls and feature areas. Marble is a natural material, so no two tiles are identical. Shade, veining, fossils, surface texture and small mineral features can vary between pieces and batches. For the best installation, order samples first and dry-lay tiles before fixing so the installer can distribute the natural variation evenly.

Which marble finish should you choose?

• Honed marble: smooth with a softer, lower-sheen appearance; a popular choice for contemporary bathrooms and floors.
• Polished marble: reflective and more dramatic, making colour and veining appear stronger.
• Tumbled marble: softened edges and a more aged surface character for traditional or relaxed interiors.

Many marble tiles can be used with underfloor heating and in wet areas when the specific product is suitable, the substrate is correctly prepared and the stone is installed and sealed appropriately.

Choosing marble tiles for walls and floors

For a marble floor, compare finishes, thicknesses and sizes on each product page — honed and brushed finishes give a softer, more natural feel underfoot. Consider how the room will be used: a honed appearance alone does not confirm slip resistance, and wet floors need particular care when choosing stone. Marble works beautifully in bathrooms and pairs well with underfloor heating.

For walls, use veining, tile shape and layout to create a bathroom backdrop, kitchen splashback or feature wall. Check that the wall and fixing system can support the selected stone. Sealing and caring for marble tiles

Marble is a porous natural stone. Use a suitable natural-stone sealer according to the manufacturer’s instructions and your installer’s advice. Sealing helps reduce absorption but does not make marble stain-proof or prevent acid etching. Wipe up spills promptly, clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid vinegar, acidic descalers and abrasive cleaning products.
